This was such a beautiful place to stay! Everything was incredibly clean and well-maintained, and it truly had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials, which made preparing meals so much easier for us.
It was the little, thoughtful touches that really made our experience amazing. We also appreciated having a dedicated parking spot right by the lodge, which made coming and going very convenient. They even provided board games to keep the kids entertained in the evenings! We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a stress-free and enjoyable getaway.

We had such a wonderful stay! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the rooms were a great size, providing plenty of space for everyone to relax. We also really appreciated the modern bathroom and the high-quality smart tv, which, combined with the excellent wifi, made for great evening entertainment.
The lodge was lovely and warm when we arrived, which made us feel welcome immediately. The kitchen was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals easily. It was also a fantastic touch to have alexa available—those thoughtful little extras really enhanced our overall experience. The cottage was absolutely wonderful, spotlessly clean and exceptionally well-appointed with everything we could possibly need. It has been tastefully modernised to a high standard, yet it still manages to perfectly maintain that charming, cosy cottage appeal that we were looking for. Both the bed and the living room sofa were incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring.
We also really enjoyed having the private back patio, which was a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the fresh air. The location is fantastic for visiting Barnstaple and the surrounding area; however, we were especially delighted by how convenient it was for non-car users like us. Having a regular local bus service right outside the door made getting around completely stress-free. We truly loved every minute of our stay and would highly recommend it!

The lodge exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we walked in, we were struck by how bright, airy, and modern the entire space felt. The open-plan layout was perfect for our family, allowing us to spend quality time together without ever feeling cramped. We spent most of our mornings on the private sun deck, enjoying the breathtaking views of the coastline and the peaceful countryside—it truly felt like a serene sanctuary. The kitchen was a highlight as well, being fully equipped with everything a family needs for self-catering. With easy beach access and the charming harbor town just a short trip away, the location is unbeatable. It was the perfect base for our North Devon adventures!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay and cannot recommend this property enough. The attention to detail was remarkable, from the high-quality linens to the thoughtful starter pack that helped us settle in immediately. The self-check-in process was incredibly smooth and stress-free, which we really appreciated after a long drive. Inside, the lodge was spotlessly clean and very well-appointed; the master ensuite was a lovely luxury, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Even with six of us, the space felt generous and well-organized. Having a dedicated parking space right next to the lodge was the icing on the cake. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We first started using TJS in 2022 for the marketing and management of our first Serviced Accommodation apartment in Mansfield. Over the last 3 years we have managed to grow our portfolio from one to five apartments. In 2018 when I first moved to North Devon, the house we purchased was supposed to be the family home. A few months later my mother fell ill and had to move in with us, a temporary measure turned into a long term measure and we had to purchase a new home that could accommodate her needs as well as the family. At the time selling the original house was not a financial option due to a number of factors but with the advice and help from TJS we decided to "Holiday Let" the house to see if it would work until the right circumstances came around to sell. That was 2019. Since then the property has outperformed our expectations and every aspect of the Marketing, management, guest relations, housekeeping, linen and maintenance are now managed under one roof by TJS. Every month we receive a complete breakdown of earnings and expenditure on one invoice which has made it really easy to manage at our end.

We have used TJS for a number of years now to manage our portfolio of Apartments in Worksop, North Nottinghamshire. Currently they have six under management for us, a mixture of 1 & 2 Bedroom units.
